Step-by-Step Guide to Logging In and Requesting Access

This guide explains the two ways residents can gain access to their Smart Living Dashboard on the CivIQ mobile application:

Direct Login or Requesting a User Account.

Direct Login (For Pre-Registered Users)​Residents who were already added to the system by the Managing Committee during the initial setup can log in directly using their credentials.
  1. ​Open the App: Launch the CiviQ mobile application. You will see the main login screen.
  2. ​Enter Details: In the top two fields, enter your registered Phone Number or Email and your Password. 3. Login: Tap the "Login" button.
  • ​Forgot Password? If you cannot remember your password, tap the "Forgot Password?" link. The system will guide you through a verification process to reset your login credentials.
Requesting a User Account (For New Residents/Tenants)​If a resident was not added during the initial setup, they must submit a request for access to be approved by the management committee.


​1. Start Request: From the main login screen, tap the "Request for your user account" button. This takes you to the registration form.​2. Enter Community and Unit Details:
  • ​Community: Search and select your association name (e.g., Sunshine Gated Community).
  • ​Select Building: Choose your specific building or block.
  • ​Select Unit: Choose your flat or unit number.
​3. Provide Personal Details: Fill in all required fields accurately:
  • Gender: Select your gender.
  • ​User Identity: This typically defines your role (e.g., Owner or Tenant). This is crucial for permission access.
  • Your Name: Enter your full name.
  • ​Phone: Enter your mobile number.
  • ​Email: Enter your primary email address.
  • ​Password: Create a secure password for your new account.
  • ​Residence Date: Enter the date you moved into the unit.
  • ​Note (optional): Add any brief notes for the administration team (e.g., "New tenant, please expedite").
​4. Submit: Tap the "Submit" button.
Awaiting Approval​After submitting the request, the application will not grant immediate access.
  • ​The request is now sent to the Management Committee dashboard for review.
  • ​Once the MC verifies your details and role (Owner or Tenant), they will approve your access.
  • ​You will receive a notification (usually via SMS or email) confirming your account is active, and you can then return to the main screen to perform a Direct Login.
​This two-step process ensures only verified, active residents are granted access to the community's digital platform.
