CiviQ: Essential Contacts

The Essential Contacts module provides instant, categorized access to all necessary phone numbers for community safety, maintenance, and civic services.

All contacts are grouped under clear, distinct categories to ensure quick identification during an urgent situation:

• ​Emergency: Contacts for immediate, life-threatening crises (e.g., Fire Department).
• ​Health: Contacts for medical support (e.g., Nearby Hospital for 24x7 emergency service).
• ​Maintenance: Contacts for internal issues like electrical faults or power trips (e.g., Electrical Maintenance).
• ​Security: Contacts for entry verification, gate checks, or suspicious activity alerts (e.g., Main Gate Security Desk).
• ​Civic & Utility: Contacts for general civic issues like garbage collection or drainage (e.g., Municipality Helpline).
• ​Utility: Contacts for essential resource providers (e.g., Water Supply Office for tanker requests).
• ​Others: General contacts for the Apartment Association or other non-categorized services.

The design of the contact card allows the resident to take immediate action on the number displayed without leaving the app.

Four distinct icons facilitate this process.

• The Call Icon allows for Quick Dialing, which initiates a direct phone call to the listed number and is the fastest action to take in an emergency.
• The WhatsApp Icon (Green Chat) allows for Quick Messaging, opening a chat window with the contact number, provided the contact uses WhatsApp.
• The Copy Icon (Blue Clipboard) lets the resident Copy the Number to their device clipboard, making it easy to paste the number into another application or save it to their phone contacts.
• The Share Icon (Purple Arrow) opens the device's native sharing menu, enabling the resident to quickly send the contact details to another person via SMS, email, or other messaging applications.

These four actions ensure the contact list is instantly usable for every resident.

By centralizing all critical emergency, utility, and maintenance numbers in one place with simple Quick Dial and Copy actions, the application ensures residents are always prepared for any event, from a fire accident to a simple tanker request.
