Step-by-Step Guide to Uploading Documents

The Document Vault is your community's secure digital library. It stores important records like legal papers, meeting minutes, and financial reports, keeping them organized and accessible to authorized residents.

The main screen gives you an instant view of your storage status:
- Total Documents: The total number of files currently stored in the vault.

- This Month / This Week: Shows the number of documents uploaded in the recent periods.


- Quota Usage: Tracks your used storage space against the total limit (e.g., 0 / 500 MB).

The All Documents table lists every file, detailing its Name, Document Type, Modified date, and Size.
To upload a document, click the "Upload Document" button and fill out the form.

- Document name: A descriptive, easy-to-search name for the File.
- Description: A brief note explaining the document's content.
- Document type: Select a category from the dropdown menu.
- Upload File: Click the area or drag and drop your file here.
- Format Note: The vault supports most document formats (PDF, DOCX, XLSX, JPG, etc.) with a maximum size of 30 MB per file.
- Share with User Groups: Select which groups of users should be able to view and download the document.

After filling out the required fields and selecting your file, click the "Upload" button. The file will be processed and appear instantly in the All Documents list.
